Sure there can and here it is.
Nobody can say for sure that the Vikings are better till we see Favre suit up and play.

I'm happy to see it. And, it's also great how many tickets sold after the announcement yesterday. Don't think we can afford to go to a game this year, so I want them all sold out - blackouts suck.

    Go VIKES!

that sucks for people who wanted to get tickets, but great for the franchise that brings in the least revenue in the league.

Ticket sales are shared revenue, I don't think ticket sales help there bottom line much, though I think merchandise sales should help. Plus the Vikings have sold out every game for many years, even if some were last minute.
And it should be noted that the Vikings have the least Gross revenue, several teams have lower Net Revenue(those that have big mortgage on new stadiums mainly).

I think it will be a fun season no matter what happens. It should be very entertaining at the bare minimum. I think we have a good team and now we will see if the additions equal wins. For Chilli's sake I hope so.

yes, they've sold out every game, but needed help to do so for many of those games.
Corporate deals to sell large chunks of tickets are the only reason we didn't have blackouts.
Are corporate packages sold at face value?
    not sure.
    Do corporate companies buy merchandise?
    no but fans will.
