I hate the Packers

Almost as much as I hate the Cowboys. :smile:

All rivalries aside, hello all!

I've been lurking the forums for about a month now. Decided I should say hello to everyone and introduce myself. I'm a born and raised Viking fan, my favorite beer is Guinness, and I live in Champlin MN. After last years playoffs, I was thinking that there was no way that this years offseason/preseaon could be as interesting to watch with the whole Brock Lesnar issue, but I've been pumped to just watch the preseason games alone since we made all of those trades and pick ups this off season.

Can't wait to let the games begin.

My prediction for the year? Vikes go 11-5.

Welcome aboard! And I hate the Packers more than the Cowboys, but then again I never saw the Drew Pearson play live, although it makes my skin crawl thinking about it anyway! Welcome to the message boards.

Yeah, but were you around for the Walker trade? That's another damn good reason to hate the Cowboys.

And I have to say, the Packers and Cowboys go #s 1 and 2 on most Vikings Fans list, as to who we hate the most in apposing teams...

Personaly I say, Pack #1 and Cowgirls a very very close #2.....

And hate is too strong a word. I mean, I guess I hate them in the friendliest way possible. I hate them as an enemy, but love them as a rival. If I'm ever at a bar watching the game and a packer fan just happens to sit next to me, if its a nice enough guy, I might just buy him a round.

Cowboys on the other hand... there is no love there. Not just the cowboys, but the city of Dallas. Nothing against the people of Dallas, but that city represents nothing but evil to me. They stole my NHL hockey team, my NFL playoff hopes and dreams when I was young, and the only time they win is when they have jerks for team leaders. In my eyes, every Minnesotan sports fan has the right to dislike Dallas.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I can tell many hours of work are going to be wasted here.
