Im going to the twincities this fall between 16th and 26th of sep to see the vikings play live for my first time. Im trying to fill my stay with as much vikingsevents as possible, traings , radioshows etc but some sightseeing, shopping, themeparking and some scuba.

I just found this forum and its great! Keep it up guys becuase without all the nice people in here it would be nothing!

I don't think you'll get much scuba in while in Minnesota during September.
But make sure you check in here so that we'll know where to meet you before games!

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

i am a little late on the welcoming, but its a welcome non-the-less.

when you go to the game, be sure to take a bunch of pictures, show up early, and just suck everything in. its a day you will never forget.

As others have said... make sure you make it to Rapid Park for the tailgating before the game.
It makes for an even better experience.

Welcome to the board Dekay - hope you have a great time in the Twin Cities. Be sure to check out the PP.O tailgating - they don't happen at every game so consider yourself lucky that you'll be there when there's one on !!
Not of all are that lucky when we get to visit :'(

    Welcome Dekay.
A lot of us plan to tailgate at Rapid Park before the Bears game..., we hope to see you there.
If you take light rail in for the game I believe Rapid Park is walking distance from the last downtown stop.
If you drive in for the game it's $15 to park in the tailgate lot, and it includes up to 4 light rail, or bus, tickets to and from the dome.

    Look for webby's big banner.
    That'll be us.

Cedar Point is open weekends (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday) through the month of October.
The crowds aren't as big, so you can get more rides on the roller coasters.
Bring a sweatshirt and/or jacket as Lake Eric can whip up some chilly winds this time of year.

    Welcome to the site!

Your a lucky guy getting to watch the Vikes play live, something I've always wanted to do but never been able to afford. :'( Also know what you mean about lack of TV coverage for games, but if you look around there are other avenues to explore

I'll show up for the Bears tailgating, hopefully ill see some of you there. Ill follow the purple PP.O banner. Its going to be a blast!

Ned: Thanks, seem like a nice park and worth a visit.

Einar: hm... i kindof missed that. Perhaps on "Swedish vikingfans Tour 2007". Hopefully i will not be alone then. Perhaps some fellow europeans could join up? How about that cogitans and scottishvike? Nice to have fellow fans on this side of the pond too.

BBQ: Guess what? My mother fancied a frenchie and oops Thanks anyway for the cool greeting!!!

Gregair: Yeah, good advice! Ill defenitely follow that. But... am i allowed to bring cameras inside the dome? And if so, how big camera could i take inside without the guards making a fuss?
