Thread: Hello! My name is Toro!

Hello! My name is Toro! And might I say how GREAT it is to be here! I am a HUGE Vikings fan. When I was a little kid, I thought the Vikings helmut was the coolest helmet in the NFL (it still is) and they had such neat uniforms. Plus, my father played for Bud Grant in Canada. I grew up in Saskatchewan where I used to watch the Vikes on North Dakota TV. Now I have Sunday Ticket so I can watch my Vikes every week. My mood on Sunday and Monday depends on whether the Vikings win or lose, which drives my wife crazy and is, admitedly, a little silly for a 30-something year-old man. But I can't help it. I LOVE the Vikings.

I'm originally from Regina and watched the Vikes when I was younger on the same feed, cursed when the cable feed changed to Detroit. Left the flatlands 11 years ago for work and made a family in BC. Now have 2 jr fans in the house and my wife can name serveral of the players. Our wedding colours were purple and gold. Took her a month to realize our wedding colours belonged to the Viking and things were already ordered. :lol:
Wife named older boy, younger one I picked, David(Palmer); (Bud) Grant; Bradley (Johnson) for names. Wife was a little choked when I told her 2 weeks later where I got the names from.

Sundays and Mondays will be GREAT this year :grin:
