Re: Hello..... I'm the newest free agent fan to sign up
Thanks again for all the welcomes since I last posted.
I was somewhat prophetic in my second post in this thread about not returning until the weekend.
My PC's cooling fan failed and had to be replaced, and in the process, the geek-techy fried my CPU with 'conductive material'.
I now have a new PC and Win Vista, etc. that I am now getting accustomed to very s-l-o-w-l-y.
LOL!
Regarding stats, I'm a heavy user of stats at work, and I often closely scrutinize football stats.
So, I'll criticize QB ratings, or net punting avgs as being too simplistic or narrowly focused.
And, of course, statements like ' "Team #1" won their last 12 games against "Team #2" when the sun was shining that morning and their head coach ate cereal for breakfast on the morning of the game' irk me, and will always draw a critical response from me.
When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !

If its not to personal whats your line of work?
I too tend to regard stats, fact, and logic highly but sometimes being a good fan requires faith.
Welcome and SKOL
