Greetings from Iowa
I have been reading these forums for over a year now and in the past week have decided if I'm going to spend hours reading all these posts I might as well contribute and see if I cant get to know some fellow Vikings fans as well.
A little about me:
I was born and raised in Rochester, MN and have always watched the Vikings. My dad is from WI but he wasnt a big football fan, as young as I can remember I remember running downstairs to turn on the vikings game every sunday even though I really didnt understand a lot of what was going on. Over the years I have gotten my dad out of his packer backing and actually can get him to root for the Vikings when they are playing each other and I have gotten both of my younger brothers into the Vikings.
I am now down in Des Moines, IA working for US Cellular and finishing up school at Iowa State. I seem to find myself frequenting the bars and drinking a lot more than I have in the past due to the Vikings rarely being on local TV down here (Chiefs country I guess) but hey the drinking has made the first part of this season bareable! haha
If anyone else has any questions feel free to ask! and thanks for such a great website this has been a life saver and a wealth of information for me over the last year.

Yep. So is that a type of urban planning specialty? Or do you tell people that it's faster to drive than it is to walk and stuff like that?
