Easier than convincing Rugby-tards. "Why do they need pads?" "They wear pads so they don't want to get hurt." Nevermind that football is the most sophisticated sport there is.

    Hello &
welcome to the site SpanishVikingo, BTW here in Europe what you call soccer we know as football, anyway it is possible to love both sports! Maybe you should give a soccer match a try, if you are living near to a Spanish Primera Liga side get on down to a game you never know you might end up liking it.

Thanks for all the replies everybody.
Really makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Coincidentally I live 10 min away from Mestalla stadium where Valencia CF plays there home games.
I have been to half a dozen games.
They are fun and after a year here I have gotten to like Soccer.
I also play on an Erasmus team which helps to learn the strategy.
It can be funny though when you talk to Americans and English speaking people from the rest of the world if you use the word "football"
    things get confusing quickly.

"Rugby Tards" that post was hilarious!

Also yum on the chicks dude, high five on that one.
