The Eagles would probably take a very low round draft pick, 6th at best or a 7th.
Course, if you guys have any more Basketts, we'll glady take 'em.

    Grrrrrr.....

But its all great though, because now we have McMuffin.

    Re: Cheers!

    Welcome Dragon_Eagle.
I will be rooting for your Eagles Sept 9th when they play the Pack.
That should be an interesting game.
Yes, an Eagles victory sided with a Viking win will make that a perfect opening weekend.
I have to ask a couple of questions.

Why did the Eagles draft Kevin Kolb?
Is Mcnabb on the way out?
Were the fans happy to get rid of Brad Childress?
Or did they even know he was one of the coaches?
Good luck, have a great season.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone.
I'm sure things will be a bit chillier around 10/28, but until then...

Let me try and be brief.

    McNabb isn't going anywhere IMO.
You may have heard rumors about a trade to da Bears.
    Ain't happening.
That was started by a AM radio sports talk moron in Philly who spends most of his time on baseball and can't tell a LB from an OT.
Kolb is insurance in case D-Mac continues to find new injuries.
In addition, Reid really likes this Kolb kid and its hard to question Reid when he likes a QB since he's been responsible for Favre, McNabb, Hasselbeck, and turned 5th round pick AJ Feeley into a 2nd round pick in a trade with Miami (out of which we got Reggie Brown and AJ back for free).
Best case scenario for us, Reid trains Kolb, McNabb stays healthy, and Kolb gets traded away in a few years for solid draft picks (a la Schaub).
Only if McNabb runs into more injury issues over the next 2 years will the Eagles seriously consider replacing him and putting Kolb on the field.

Yes, we absolutely knew who Childress was.
This town is obsessed with the Eagles.
We liked Childress and, generally, everyone wishes him well as a HC.
Our offense did very well under him.
Though I should note one thing.
While Brad was here, Reid called all the plays.
Last year, Reid turned the play calling over to Mornhinweg who did a great job (largely because he believed in calling running plays).
Reid has more trust in Marty than he did with Brad, although Marty and Reid go back much longer.

Oh, and BTW, don't worry about the Packers opener.
You can go ahead and mark them down for a huge loss.
    We own them.
I've lost count of how many wins in a row we have, but I think its in the double-digits now.

I don't think you have to worry about Favre thowing on 4th down anymore.
