Will the Eagles get a rollover, like they want?
After reading the posts of Eagles fans on this board, and on their board, it is pretty clear what they think of this Vikings team.
They think that our game against the Packers was our "Super Bowl", that we had something to prove against Green Bay and we proved it...and now we've accomplished our mission for the season. We reached our emotional and physical peak, and now we're on our way down. Now we can safely roll over this weekend and let the Philly birds, who have so long been denied a showing in the Super Bowl, achieve their dream. After all, how can an 8-8 team that backed into the playoffs possibly beat the NFC's dynasty?
I say to hell with that crap...we had a very solid practice this week, we've faced these bastards once before, Daunte beat their multiple blitzes and moved the ball successfully, our running game will work if we stick with it, and our defense, despite the loss of Chavous, has shown they have what it takes to perform in the playoffs. EJ has vastly improved, K Will and the D line cannot be taken for granted, so lets go into Philly and give these guys a fight.

When's the last time the Vikings put two solid games together in consecutive weeks?

[QUOTE="DrinkinThe last time the Vikes put two solid games together was the last time that our coaches realized we have nothing to lose so they opened it up on both Offense and Defense so we were playing to win and not to lose. Just like they realized last week, and still know this week.

do you think that the eagles are on some hot streak? dallas have that good of a defense? we are fielding backups all over the field and we are still better than half the teams in the league. brian williams is a backup, in theory. offord, scott, johnson, all new players on d. we have the 2nd most dangerous O in the league and a d that can play at a championship level when motivated to. i think they will all come to play. it only takes one game to improve your confidence and game, so the vikes will hold there own. home field, out doors, it looks good for the eagles. i am just glad they dont play the game on paper. or on any one of those video games.

The Vikes have a MUCH better chance of winning than the press and the Iggles fans seem to think they do.
And they're DEFINITELY going to beat that ridiculously high spread.
