    No.
    Bad idea.

    =Z=
    Why?
I think it is a good idea (and have thought so for a couple of months now...).
    It's in poor taste.

If you go on the Atlanta fan site, they actually hold Vikings fans with pretty high regards. I say, don't sing the song, lets just kick their football team's @ss.
Poor taste is a subjective term.
When the Bucs played "Rock you like a Hurricane" at the NO game while thousands of people were still homeless ofter Katrina, that was in poor taste.
Poking fun at the fact that Atlanta's star player is going to prison because he is a cold, heartless bastard is not in the same league.

Besides, I have been to the Atlanta fan sites, and there are very, very few Vick supporters making noise right now.
They are as tired and ashamed of him as we are.

    I say do it.

They may not be able to play it in the Dome but they can't stop you from playing it "load and clear" in the parking/tailgating lots, especially when the Falcons team bus rolls up.

The best sign would be a collage of cute puppies, no words needed.

    How about:
    "The Atlanta Harringtons?"

Do the Falcons play the Browns this year? Possibilities there are endless.

    Unfortunately no.

I think it is a good idea (and have thought so for a couple of months now...).
Setting aside all questions of bad taste, I don't believe it's in the Vikings' best interests to play songs that may fire up the other team.
People seem to think that playing "Dog Songs" will somehow demoralize the Falcons.
I, OTOH, think that doing so is more likely to fire them up, as they band together as a team to get past this.

Add in that "Dog Songs" will likely piss off the NFL, and that's 2 strikes.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

I actually don't think it would have any effect on the Falcons.
But it would fire up the crowd, which is why I want to hear it.
Last year we as fans were disappointedly quiet.
I want my ears to be ringing for at least an hour when I leave the dome on Sunday.

Also, you can bet that the NFL has already thought of this.
If it will rub them the wrong way, you can bet that they have already issued the memo, making this issue moot.
If they haven't, then I say it is fair game.

Being reminded of the dog thing is going to fire up the fans?
    I disagree.

Besides, how can they play music when they've got to give away HBO box-sets?

After the love boat incident didn't Chicago play the theme song over their PA system?
It sure didn't have a positive effect on the Vikings.
