Re: Who let the dogs out?

I am almost positive that the NFL will ban that song from being played at opposing stadiums with fines given out to teams that play it.
The NFL certainly does not want this ordeal perpetuated by constantly blasting that song through stadium speakers.

[size=11pt]They still have Johnathan Babineux on the roster and he's accused of killing his girlfriend's dog. He's scheduled to appear in court on animal cruelty charges in January. I'd think playing the song would be appropriate when he steps out onto the field.

I had forgotten about that already.

I can't believe that hasn't been to court yet & won't be until January.

i'm pretty sure that they are gonna fine us for playing, or bring foward any spotlight to the Vick problems.

but ohh i'd laugh when the dome starts chanting.. "Who let the dogs out"

don't think they do but security will be keeping a look out inside the stadium for anything that could be classed as offensive or tasteless. I remember at the Cleveland game last year seeing a sign taken off two Browns fans which made references to the 'Love Boat' episode.
Shame really as there's not many examples existing that proves that Browns fans can actually write words with more tahn four letters in.

    Why?
I think it is a good idea (and have thought so for a couple of months now...).

    It's in poor taste.

If you go on the Atlanta fan site, they actually hold Vikings fans with pretty high regards. I say, don't sing the song, lets just kick their football team's @ss.
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

They do check them, but I don't think a Vick sign would be a problem.
Here are the rules regarding signs in the Metrodome:
    "2007" wrote:
    Banners and Signs
Please abide by the following policies:
    • [li]Signs may not obstruct another guest's view[/li]
[li]Signs may not be hung anywhere in the Metrodome[/li]
[li]Signs may not be commercial, political or inappropriate in nature[/li]
[li]Signs may not be constructed out of wood or metal[/li]

If the banner blocks the view of any patron or is inappropriate, security personnel will confiscate the banner.
Failure to comply may result in dismissal from the Metrodome.
Confiscated banners will not be returned.
The only rule that may apply is the one about being inappropriate, but I don't think any of the signs suggested would qualify.
An example of inappropriate would be a sign that says: Green Bay Sucks (Brett Fav-re Swallows) or something along those lines.
