Welcome on down!!!!1
For all those Vikings fans coming to NOLA this weekend I hope y'all have a great time. Well minus the time during the game. For the most part Saints fans have a good time hanging out/visiting with away team fans. Please ignore the very very few bad apples you might run into, but for the most part you will fine us Black/Gold guys are fun to be around. I look forward to Fri/Sat/Sun taitgating and then being in the Dome!!!!1

Re: Welcome on down!!!!1
I lived down there for 4 years... they are not too mean to opposing fans (unless you're talking college ball).
I WISH I could get down there a week early!!!!

Good luck on Sunday. Wish I could go. I plan on being in Miami though. ;)

Welcome to the site. You will find a good forum for discussing football. 95% will be respectful as long as your are and a few homers who will bash you just because.....
Have fun and know that we think we are going to win, and realize that you feel the same way about your team.
There will be some bragging, some smack, but by and large there will be honest evaluation of both teams.
Again Welcome to the site.

Re:Welcome on down!!!!1
I will be in NOLA by chance this weekend, with plans to leave Sunday morning. I could stay and watch the game in town. I don't think I can afford tix to the game. Where would be a good, safe place (win or lose) to watch the game?

Re:Welcome on down!!!!1
I would say you should be around the Dome from noon til game time. After that any bar (that you can get into) in the french Quarter will be good.

Re:Welcome on down!!!!1
How bad are the seats in the nose-bleed section? I need to know before I start trying to convince the hubby that I have to be there.
LOL, god I want to go.

Re:Welcome on down!!!!1
They are steep in some spots but that does give you a full view of the game.
Come on down. The party this weekend in NOLA will be worth the trip.

Re:Welcome on down!!!!1
I can imagine the party will be great.
If I can't make it, I do wish you guys luck.
I've been saying all season, if the Vikings can't win (although I would greatly prefer that they did), I could live with losing to the Saints.
Now to convince my husband that since this is probably only going to happen a few times in my lifetime and it's been over 3 decades since we've won a trip to the Superbowl, we really, really, really need to go.
