It is now officially Packers Vikings week.

It is on, ladies and gentlemen.

Did you hear the yutz on "Sunday Night Football In America" or whatever they are calling it?
He actually said LNAD threw it to Jennings.

Amazing what gets on TV these days.

Brett Favre is the ultimate cougar.

Still willing to take it deep and loves to play with the young.

I really don't see the Pack having a chance in this game.
If they cant stop Cedric Benson or Steven Jackson, they most certainly wont stop AP.

Pack oline is weak, so the Vikes d line will feast on #12.

And as pointed out, Favre will be playing angry, and could go off.
...Rodgers had to hold on the ball longer, giving players like Jared "I am completely insane and will literally eat your children" Allen time to sack Rodgers again. And again. And again. Actually I think Rodgers may have nightmares about Jared Allen the rest of the year.

Does it get any better than this game?
Well maybe a NFC championship at the Dome with these two teams but I am not sure how that would be possible.

    Re: We Declare War.

This is a reply to SIA in the Marrdro crow thread, as I don't want to hijack that, lol.

Regarding Favre crotch-sniffing and Aaron crotch sniffing.

Our offensive line troubles are so very obviously extreme (to me) that I refuse to acknowledge anything approximating crotch-sniffing as regards Aaron Rodgers to date.

He is a solution, not a potential problem.

The days of interceptions in Green Bay look like history.
The guy is not only a very accurate passer, extremely mobile, but he will take a sack rather than throwing it up there.
He is, on average, about .7 sec. slower than Barney.
That is a significant difference, but I will take that minus with all of the pluses I see.

The reason we blame and rant about our line...everybody that follows the Pukers semi-religiously knows that everyone knows about it, yet the solutions are frustratingly slow. [smack mode for a brief editorial--We are not out trying to buy a team like SOME teams in the NFL, lol]

I don't know if it is this coaching staff and mgmt. that will do it, but someday someone in GB is going to wake up and realize that getting Aaron Rodgers that extra .7 seconds will pay rewards to an exponential degree.
The dude is SICK when given time, and he does not suck when he isn't.
(Most of the time, he is a QB, not a god)
That last one might take some intreptation, what with you guys having a God for QB.

    Supposedly.

    Re: We Declare War.

Didn't want Dfosterf to take all of you on single handidly....

But then again it looks like he has it well in hand.

Monday night should be epic. I see Rodgers throwing quicker slants and check downs to offset the rush of the Vikes. I see AP getting his 100-120 yards as IMHO that is considered "containing" him. It
will be mainly small gains with 1-3 20+ romps.

Which Brings us to Favre. While he is looking for revenge, he is also going up against those that have practiced against him for many years. They know him like the back of his hand. My guess is that Woodson gets at least one pick and a linebacker will get another as he fires it over the middle only to be tipped by a slow reacting TE out of the backfield. historically, favre has not played well in big games...ask the NY Giants.

With us, we will produce points as long as we don't get killed by penalties. Rodgers has yet to turn over the ball and this immediately gives us the edge in turnovers which in most coaches minds, is the most telling statistic.

It will be enjoyable as the clock ticks down......

    To see all the Lutefisk lovers pissing in their belugas as they come to this realization;

They can't even beat the Pack with their own legend.
    :P

    Carry on DFoster f
    ;D
12 Championships with more on the way. GoPackGo!
