The sad thing about it is that it doesn't matter who(m) is covering who(m)."singersp" wrote:
And Winfield will move over to the slot when the Lions have 3 receivers on the field (most of the time, I think), which will leave Griffin and McCauly on the outside receivers. Watch for those 2's performances to make or break this game for the Vikes D.I'm expecting Kitna to pass a lot & attack our D. I don't see him going deep with the talent we have back there at safety or target the receiver up against Winfield.
Watch for him to target shorter route recievers that 2nd year DB Cedric Griffin will be covering.
If our front 4 don't get pressure on Kitna all of them will have a bad day. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Re: V's Preview (at Lions)
It will be a good test for our back 7. Last year we couldn't stop anybody from passing on us. We know that Detroit will try to. If we can stop them it will be a psychological advantage for us going forward as teams will then question whether they can have success through the air. If they light us up in the passing game, then we can expect every other team to try the same thing. Hopefully Robison takes kitna out of his game early and the secondary doesn't go to a soft cover set that lets them kill us with the intermediate length plays.

Well, I think our back 7 failed the test. They gave up too many yards that led to points. How was I suppose to know Matt Millen would get himself locked in the bathroom late in the game allowing Kitna to come off the bench ;DI bet some people feel kinda silly now.
;D
I'm sure Millen was calling the Lions challenges from upstairs before that happened, the challenge after TJ spiked the ball, a play to late to challenge the blown call before had to be Millen's call.
