Your pethetic purple team is about to run into the best defense in the NFL !

Rex and his crew shreads your defense, while Urlacher and his crew dominates your last place ofense.

    DA BEARS 27

I allways love your insightful posts when you get on to this board.

But I think you'll find that this sundays game will be a close one, just like last time we faced each other.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

I don't see why all you bear fans have such a hard on for Rex.

    HA!!!....NOT ALL OF US DO!

I was totally behind the guy. I thought, "just keep him healthy, and he'll be great!"

Boy, was I about as far from the truth as posible.

I am NOT a "fairweather fan". But, I AM a BEARS fan...not a REX fan. If you can't perform for the BEARS, then be gone with you.
The way I see it at this point, although WRECKS is certainly aggravating the heck out of me, and I too call for his head on a silver platter, when he give's the game (s) away, I don't believe that getting rid of him completely is the answer either. I do think that we have two very good weapons in Grossman AND Greise. So, why aren't we using them??? What is Lovie Smiths devotion to WRECKS? I don't get it.
I'm not super knowledgeable to all things pertaining to football. But I do understand why they rotate RB's. They'll pull Jones to put in Benson. And pull Benson to put in Peterson. All throughout the game. So why on earth do they stick with a failing Quarterback, come hell or high water, till the end of the game??
I just don't think that Greise would have made the same decision, to go for somewhat of a Hail Mary...with 1:53 still left to play. And, if Turner called that play, then he's an idiot.
As for WRECKS getting us to the Promised Land....I don't see it. He has gone steadily down hill, and his numbers back that up.
We don't have the luxury, or the "time" for REX to get his act together. Every other aspect of the team is READY, right now. This (hopefully) is our year. Our Offensive Line is good enough, our Defensive Line is STELLAR, and our Special Teams are very very good. I gotta agree with Troy Aikman, in that WRECKS is our Achilles heel. He is holding this team back.

We may not get another chance to be here again for some time to come.
There are no guarantee's that we will be here again next year. But, we're here now.
You have to take advantage of this position when it comes. I don't believe that WRECKS is good enough to get us there.

I believe that REX, is. But, that guy doesn't show up much anymore.
I also believe that REX is our Quarterback for the future. But, this is NOT "the future". This is happening RIGHT NOW. We are ready, and knocking at the gate.
And, as I see it...WRECKS is going to fumble the key.
I say, get Greise MORE involved. Use his experience, and what weapons that he, also, brings to the table.

They say Rex is having a great game, every other game. By that senerio, Good Game/Bad game, REX vs. WRECKS, that would put him right on target to have a GREAT game the second playoff game. Which means the next game, he wont be there for, but the rest of us will.

There's just one problem with that..........the game before the second playoff game.

Can you say "One and Done"...??

Grossman has dug himself into a hole deeper than Saddam Heussain.
Can our Defence pull him out??
    I don't know.

Let's hope it doesn't take the United States Marines!....they're kinda busy at the moment.

I know there's still five games left to play. And, all of which are below .500 teams.
But, these can be your most dangerous teams to face. They have nothing left to play for other then pride.
Which is a powerfull weapon in itself.
Not that I'm personally affraid. But give us the weapons that we need!
And use ALL the weapons that we have.

However, everyone, now knows, to just pressure Rex/WRECKS, and just be there when he throws it up for grabs.

"They" say we should win the next 5 games. And, statisically, that's true.
But, to tell ya the truth....I'll be happy if we get 3 of them.
    Minnesota, Green Bay, and Detroit.

Guess it's pretty useless even thinking about it.
What's gonna happen, is what's gonna happen.

May as well just enjoy the ride!....

GOOD LUCK TO THE VIKINGS!....and NO INJURIES!!!!

    Nice post.
It appears you have the modern day Jeckyl and Hyde with Wrecks and Rex.
It is obvious that he is your weakest link.
I would agree that this could be the Bears year if the QB situation gets under control.
The D is stellar the special teams have been doing a great job.
    The running game is progressing.
    Rex is Wrecks.
Get rid of the weakest link.

Maybe the Vikes can help get rid of Rex or Wrecks, whichever one shows up.
I agree that the Bears ain't goin' deep into the playoffs if the guy that touches the ball on 100% of the offensive plays is offensive.

    Should be a great game.
The Bears going down in Soldier field is always a joy to behold.
