Titans week
Well we're finally in the win column, whew!
No time to celebrate as we hit the road to face a very tough TN Titans team.
Living here in the Nashville area, I have to watch the Titans on cable every week so I know a bit about them from watching them.
First and foremost, their defense is awesome.
In fact the Titans are almost a mirror image of the Vikings, strong defense, strong running game, weak passing game.
This Chris Johnson they have at running back is for real, he'll be a real test for our run defense.
Kerry Collins, you just never know which Kerry is going to show up.
He could torch us for 300+ yards, or we could hold him under 150.
Should be a good battle, no doubt very low scoring.
I'm looking forward to being in the stands Sunday proudly wearing the purple/gold.

Another test for sure.
Looking forward to getting to 2-2, if the D plays lust like yesterday and we have incremental improvement on O, which is certainly possible.

kvb93 is my friend from www.gotitans.com. This game is going to be the biggest test for the Titans yet. I really like Tennessee's chances here. I especially want to see how well Tennessee's run d is against Peterson. After what happened Sunday I expect the Titans to button down. I'm kinda glad we got exposed yesterday. They will be ready for Peterson.

CT and AD should combine for 175 easily.
We need to turn those drives into points in order to win though.
Titans have a great D, and this will be a fairly hard fought game.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: Titans week
i was thinking about how we match up defensively too.
heres a team that wants to run, and we stop the run.
we just can't give it up.
we're vulnerable to the pass, but they dont have any studs at wr and collins is not moving much so our pass rush should be important.
our defense has to control this game.
slaton running for a 100 this week does give us hope that we can run the ball on them, but we still have to be balanced and get a lead. i think if we get smoething on them they are not built to be coming from behind and it will play against their strenght and that pass rush can tee off.
to be honest the only thing that scares me is childress.
fisher is a smart coach and wins with smoke and mirrors.
this reminds me of some games we have lost over childress's tenure.
we are more talented than they are, but if they are smarter, we will end up losing a close game"self improvement's masturbation.
now self destruction" that's enlightenment

Re: Titans week
Aloha, guys!
I showed up here last time our teams met... gave HawaiianVike a bunch of crap about all the vowels in his sig
;D
My, how things change! Now I live in Hawaii (moved from NC 2 years ago) and find Hawaiian much easier to read than English
It's actually spelled correctly!
Anyways, looking forward to having you over in Nashville to help celebrate our fourth win of the regular season! YAY!!
