I think the Vikings can beat the Chickens with their A team on the field and that's how I would rather see it.
It is spineless to wish for star players to be gone so we can win.
Beat the best team they have.
Did I wish for him to be gone?
    No.
I'm happy that the Vikes won't be facing him.

YOU'RE wishing that he comes back from his injury in time for your team to play him.
    That's BRILLIANT.
I suppose next you'll wish for the Packers to trade for LaDainian Tomlinson.

    =Z=
Did you just finish your purpleride short-course in logic?
Read into it whatever you want, it won't change my mind.
Beat the best team they have to offer.
If he's in, fine, if he's not, fine.
Nothing that you or I say will change what happens regarding Alexander's status.
FYI, he will not play so you will get your wish.
The logic says that you should want your team to face the weakest opponent possible so that they can achieve the ONE thing that matters - the victory.
Since nothing is to be gained AT ALL from beating a team that has all their star players, there is no LOGICAL reason for wanting them on the field to face the Vikes.

Your basing your stand on an emotion, not logic.

    ;D, no, reputation.
I will save some energy for arguing against the Seahag trolls that are bound to stop by.
While I agree with you IN PRINCIPLE, I would rather face (and beat) the SAME TEAM that the BEARS got to play...it wouldn't be right for them to get to claim a WIN over a DEPELETED team while we could possibly be saddled with a LOSS to the same team at FULL STRENGTH!

BTW, what happened to your AVATAR???

It'll be very interesting to see Hutch's return and how he plays against his former family.
That whole poison pill situation this off-season was ugly, on both sides, but kudos to your front office for managing to secure the best guard (and one of the best linemen period) in the NFL.
Also, getting rid of Culpepper has proven to be a smart decision.

You guys are a legitimate team and I think it would be a mistake for us to over look you this upcoming Sunday.
Your front seven is vicious and I expect problems with pass protection for Hass this week.
Brad Johnson is a crafty veteran and given momentum and protection he has proven he can get the job done.

The jury is still out as to whether our main threat, Shaun Alexander, will be playing.
If he is, it'll be a difficult situation stopping both Alexander and our passing game.
If he does play, the key is shutting him down and making us a one dimensional team.
The Bears, though no Alexander, proved how to beat us.
If you can get pressure on Matt, you have a chance.

I don't know where our defense is just yet.
Obviously, our secondary is suspect and if we can't get pressure on Johnson, you'll be able to exploit it.
I don't expect Taylor to run for too much.
Even in our blow out in Chicago (oh how painful that was), we still played decent run defense and held Steven Jackson to 54 yards in St. Louis.
Johnson will have to bring his A-Game.
I suspect that he will, you've had two weeks off to prepare for this game.

Overall, I think we're just too much at home.
I foresee a Seahawk victory somewhere along the lines of 28-20.
Here's to an exciting, injury free game.

    Good luck.
    Good analysis...wrong result!

    WE WIN 17-10!!!

Good luck to you guys and no injuries on either side (although I do hope that we get to play the SAME TEAM as the Bears got to - minus Alexander - which would only be FAIR to our team in our fight for the division with the Bears).

Good luck to you as well. Alexander will be out for at least 2 more weeks (ouch). It should be a good game & we need this win! Great comeback yesterday vs. the Rams! That was huge

    Yep, confirmed by espn.

With the bears playing mostly chumps the rest of the year, ill take a W any way the vikes can get it.
...Rodgers had to hold on the ball longer, giving players like Jared "I am completely insane and will literally eat your children" Allen time to sack Rodgers again. And again. And again. Actually I think Rodgers may have nightmares about Jared Allen the rest of the year.

Your "W", I am afraid to say, I NOT going to come this week.
The HAWKS are just too dominant at home.

I disagree, they will come like they have every game this year.
We may not be the explosive offense that you've seen from the Vikings in the past, but we're consistent.
I predict 1 offensive TD and 2 defensive TD's... 21-17 will be the final.

Just like when you dominated the Bears.
The Vikings' D is on the rise and they owned the Bears for most of the game.
The Denny-led Cardinals took it to the Bears for most of the game last night.
The Seachickens are going back to their 70's form for an afternoon this Sunday and losing at home.

I saw your predicted score and I have to say while I know your team has talent you must not have noticed we have held all of our opponents to 19 points or under. I'm not saying we will win without a doubt but regardless of where we are playing our D is going to bring it. We have a dominant run D and Matt "we will receive, and we are going to score" Hasselbech is going to have to bring his A game.
