Man, Bulger just tossed for 388 yds and 4 TDs against the hapless Redsticks this week.
Bruce, Jackson, Holt, and the boys are chomping at the bit to get into the Vikings zone D.
I sure hope the last game of the season isn't a total embarrasment.
The Vikings need to finish the season on a positive note.
I'm thinking that we will finally see J. Carter in the lineup this week.
They better jam the running game down their throats and keep that ball out of Bulger's hands.
We're doomed... If they do it, then they do it.. Its not like we are fighting for a playoff spot or anything.. The only thing it will do is get us a better draft pick at this point in time..
seriously all we are playing the Rams for is so that TJack can get some practice in and so our WR can work on their catches.
I agree with many on the site...if it gets us a better draft pick then so be it.
The season ended when we lost to GB and even before that.
also, if the Vikes lose it would help in making the Packers slim chances at making the playoffs even slimmer. If the Rams win and Green Bay somehow beats Chicago, the Packers HAVE to hope that either ATL or CAR win next week as well
Well with MRob gone, Travis Taylor on the fringe and many considering Williamson as a bust now, then there is an opportunity for some of the WRs on the fringe to show what they can do. It might only get them to the #5 or maybe even #4 spot on the roster but once they get to those places who knows what may happen from there.
Is it worth wanting your team to lose so the Packers dont get into the playoffs????? I hate saying that but it is almost worth it so they dont get in.

At least if we lose and the pack wins, we can go into the offseason knowing that we were able to screw the Packers. ;D

In a perfect world T-jack comes out firing early and all the WRs catch the ball

in a futle atemp to come back Mark "small" Bulger throws 3 picks and is sacked 5 times
we end the season destroying the lambs and build our momentum going into next season

Well according to my Packer friend the following needs to happen for the Packers to make the playoffs if the Giants win:
Should the Packers wind up in a tie with the Giants for the sixth and final playoff spot in the NFC, it will be broken through a strength of victory tiebreaker.
According to the NFL, the Packers can clinch that tiebreaker only if all of the following occurs on Sunday: Arizona wins at San Diego, Detroit wins at Dallas, Miami wins at Indianapolis, Minnesota beats St. Louis, San Francisco wins at Denver, Carolina loses at New Orleans, Houston loses to Cleveland and Tampa Bay loses to Seattle.
If Minnesota beats St. Louis and Detroit beats Dallas, there could be a tie between the Packers and Giants in strength of victory. It would take four of the other five outcomes for that to happen. Then the next tiebreaker would be strength of schedule, which the Packers have a slight edge in right now.
So first the Giants need to win.
Second if that happens, the Lions will not beat the Cowboys so our game really doesn't matter IMO.

Chicago has clinched home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.
Green Bay can clinch playoff berth with:
1) GB win + NYG win + GB clinches strength of victory tiebreaker over NYG, OR
2) GB win + NYG loss or tie + STL loss or tie, OR
3) GB win + NYG loss or tie + CAR win, OR
4) GB win + NYG loss or tie + ATL win, OR
5) GB tie + NYG loss + STL loss + ATL loss or tie + CAR loss or tie
