    Packers 35
    Vikings 31

    And I'm a Vikings fan.

I just don't believe all the hype about all those Packers being injured. All Packer trickery. Lies. Subterfuge.

    Prove me wrong, Vikings.....PLEASE!!!!!

Re: Minnesota Vikings Vs Green Bay Packers

I really hope we win this game. But this year has sort of brought me down to reality, you can't really take anything for granted. Should be a good game, and if Allen and Favre play the way they did last year, we'll be in good shape, but I'm not counting on it yet. A few things I would like to see though.

I'd like to see Harvin used a little differently, not just in the slot and on kick returns, but I'd like to see him in the backfield a little more, as well as on punt returns. We should be using him the same way KC uses McCluster, NO used Bush, keeping defenses off balance, and he's great out of the backfield, give him more than 2 carries. I'd also like to see Gerhart get a few more touches. If for no other reason than we don't have a good pass protecting 3rd down back, and I'd rather develop him than continue to see Albert Young. I'd also like to see Camarillo in the slot more. This could be achieved by moving Harvin around, and sitting Berrian, who has been consistently underachieving this year.

On defense, we need to get more pressure on the QB, but what would go a long ways in helping that, would be better pass coverage. That extra half second to second we're giving the opposing QB this year is hurting us. Maybe we could get creative with some blitz packages. Also, I'd like to see them move Allen around to other side of the line just a few times a game. I'd have to imagine he could dominate most RT's in the league. Also, a big reason for our great run defense of past years, was gap discipline. All 11 guys stuck to their assignment, even if that meant they didn't get to make the highlight reel play. Against the Jets, two of LT's big runs were simply on LB's vacating their gaps to try and make a big play. Henderson did it once, Leber did it once, it resulted in about 20 yards each time. Had they stayed in their gaps, it likely would have been a 3 yard gain at best.

Alright, I'm done rambling and my pizza and wings should be here any minute.
    GO VIKINGS!!!!!

I agree! Run Harvin a little more to mix things up and Peterson could break things wide open.

If the Vikings win, I think Peterson has to be the key and have a big game.

Well, they didn't prove me wrong, but all in all, it was not a bad performance.

Wonder if they can fix Favre's leg and get him in another game?

I watched the Pats today and we can't beat them without a miracle.

    Congrats to you.

I think mall those pinpoint accurate throws won the game for you.

    Neither coach is above average.

Rogers, though good, isn't as good as many think.

And neither team is a superbowl caliber team.

Congrats my friend. It was a hard fought win. We'll see ya in a few weeks at the Dome. Maybe by then we will have a RDE that can get a pass rush going and a QB who doesn't have a hard time remembering what team he is on.

    Sorry, just couldn't resist.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg
