Was he lined up against andre Johnson, and Steve Smith? I can't remember for sure but I know that I remember a couple of games where he was lined up against the better reciever.Quote:

I wonder if we might see Griff matched up against him (thier best reciever) as a shutdown CB, like we did last year at times..... ::)Quote:
Braylon Edwards vs. Winfield
Ahh, yes. The Michigan guy and the Ohio State guy. Winfield is coming off his first Pro Bowl appearance, and Edwards will be out to prove he shouldn't be left in single coverage against anyone.
In fact I am being serious. We saw several occasions last year were Griff and Whinny switched sides as Griff matched up against the bigger/better reciever.
=Z=
2nd half of the season
andre johnson 4 for 62 and a TD
calvin johnson 3 for 84 and a TD
Fitz/Bolden 5 for 52 and 6 for 34 respectively
Roddy White - 3 for 24
Greg Jennings 3 for 37
Antonio Bryant -5 for 59
[/quote]
Sorry, but listing some WRs and the games they had does not translate into "Griffin and Winfield switching sides".

I do remember Griffin covering Steve Smith, and I remember Smith grabbing
for 70 yards.

You do work for the government, so I guess you're used to that sort of thing.

I think it was a very fair if not overly complimentry assessment.
I think they didn't mention EJ, because anyone coming off an injury is still a wildcard as to whether they will come back in the same shape.
Given EJ's determination I think he will be close.
What I do think is "the other DE", will be a better this year.
I think Robison will show serious improvement in his 3rd year and get more time, even with very limited time he was able to get 2.5 sacks.
I really would like to see Udeze succeed, who knows he could be a Lance Armstrong, and become the best.
But a 2007 Udeze is a good man to have in the rotation.
The Browns don't have quite the excitement of last years opener on Monday night in Greenbay.

Those should be more than fine after a year off.
If he's not to the point he was at before, its probably because of the fact he spent the season not practicing or playing, not becauseo f lingering effects.
As for Udeze... I still don't believe he'll be back to the point he was at.
Not right away anyway.
He has alot of weight to lose, has to put on muscle he probably lost from therapy, and has to get back into game shape.
He might get some plays, but I expect Ray to start, and when Udeze plays, it will be more of a welcome back gesture by Chilly.
It wouldn't surprise me to see him start the season on the PUP list.

Absolutely. With EJ back and Robison getting a lot of work on passing downs, this defense should be something special.Quote:
I love how they completely failed to mention EJ Henderson in their article. At times, he is the best player on a defense studded with stars. Looking towards next year, that front 7 is absolutely sick... gets me excited.
I thought the writer knew the Vikings pretty well despite forgetting about EJ. He reminded me about Jasper who was felt to be a steal in the 5th round.
