The Lions actually have a legit shot this year as well. I wouldn't be suprised to see them open 5-0. They are more dangerous than many here are giving them credit for.

Well said. I think they still need a qb before they will
truly be a threat though. That being said, I am woried about them this year anyways.

    Sweet sig by the way.

I don't think we need to call each other names......

Besides, Harrington will end up being the biggest bust or prosper with all the WR , uhem, weapons.

I think that the Bears and the Lions have shown glimmers of hope the last few years but I think their lack of a quality QB (veteran QB) is going to keep them from being consistant.

I think the Bears might fair a little bit better if there D can perform as good as last year. I haven't paid any attention to their games at all this preseason and have no insight as to how well they will play.

I would love to see both the Bears and the Lions get the better of the Pack this year.

Way to stick your neck out there ARTICNV! Looks like a few PPOers tried to chop it off already. Stick to your guns.

BTW, I don't think they go 0-5. Joey will have some good games, he just won't be consistant.

Not with box scores like these against a declining Packer defense:

De-Toilet stats today against the pack:
    1st Downs 18
    3rd down efficiency
6-15 ...... looking good, ripping up the NFL.
    4th down efficiency
    0-1
Total Yards 254 ... Must be a league leader
Passing 152 .... Unbelieveable day for Joey
    Comp-Att
    15-28
    Yards per pass
5.4 .... Must be those 3 first round vertical threats they have.
    Rushing 102
    Rushing Attempts
    31
    Yards per rush
3.3 .... Man, what a ground game. Unstoppable.

You know, I find it ammusing that this guy signs up on the site like an hour after Detroit beats Green Bay (whoop de doo) and looks for all these old prediction threads. It's like a 49er fan siging up for a Rams board and talking a little pathetic smack just because his team has been so deprived of winning and he doesn't know how to control the feeling.

yah i said the exact same thing AK. isn't that hilarious that he joined up after they won? he was too afraid to join before the game because he didn't want to get slammed because he was afraid his team would lose, pretty gutless

    Thanks Josdin
