Re: It's going down.
i have a feeling that there will be some vikings records broke today..
look for lots of qb rushes + sacks.
low production from the panths, and possibly from the vikes.
but the vikes will sustain momenteum and take points here and there.
vikes 24
panths 6

Re: It's going down.
Carolina's O line is going to really struggle against the Williams twins.
We should be abel to get much greater pressure on the QB than we did last week.
Would love to see Delhomme treated like an Aaron Brooks clone. Beat him, break him, bring in the back up!!

Panthers look so horrible this year it wont even be a contest.
u can't judge the panthers by the first game of the season, they have to much talent to be that bad. delohme is guilty of going to smith to much, but anybody would if they had that option, some might not but if u got a guy that catch and do stuff like him, they will throw to him more. but without smith they r deff not the same offense, but im not going to be guilty of under estimating them i would rather over estimate then under estimate them. they rely on to many key big players to win them games, on both sides of the ball. thats why i like Brad so much,
he finds the open man instead of going to one person all the time, makes the defense have to cover everyone.
Thanks Josdin00 for the sig!

Re: It's going down.
The Panthers have been a hot-n-cold team for the past few seasons.
One game, they show up and make the other team look silly...the next, they don't and make chumps look like champs.
It's hard to tell which Panther's team you'll see from week to week.
Coming off a humiliating loss to Atlanta, I would expect to see the "On Again" Panther's team, however, with Smith out and their O-Line hurting, they may not have the power to match the will.
The Vikings, on the other hand, showed a very balanced game last week.
Having D. Smith back should tighten up the Secondary, the D-Line looked good, and the Linebackers played well to boot.
That means that we should be able to overmatch their Offense with our D.
If our O-Line can open a few holes up, Chester might see a little better YPC than last week...which would be very welcome.
We don't have Atlanta's speed there, but they don't have Birk, Hutch, or McKinnie.
Our passing game looked solid last week - that should stay the same.
Brad isn't a hot-n-cold QB, and our receivers have all got good hands (Although Troy needs to work a bit on his).
Add in Chester and Tony out of the backfield and Wiggins and Kleinie and we've got a pretty solid looking offense.
Carolina's D is a bit banged up too, so we have the paper advantage in that match-up.
All in all, if we play OUR game, and keep our heads (No more 54 yd FG attempts), we should be able to walk away from this at 2-0 on the season.
8 hours 'till kick off, 11 hours 'till we know...

Yeah, check the record!
I don't think this game is going to be very close. The Panthers are pissed off and check the record of them coming into a game after a loss. It's rather impressive.
Carolina: 23
Vikings:13

I do lfind it very admirable when they do come back.
The fans the come in to talk intelligently are the ones that will and I have a lot of respect for them.
