It is difficult for us to come out and be as cocky about our team.......

Difficult to get any heated responses.
I realize you are just being friendly!
You are afforded the luxury of having a lot of proven players on the Rams to boast over.
We are full of guys that want to make a name for themselves.
Heck we don't even have a name in our group of WRs and the Rams have 2 stud vets.
Your QB is proven ours isn't.
RBs I think we will be able to compete closely with Jackson.


These starters will play the first two series in the first quarter........ see ya on the turf.

preseason is for

1.
Making that one last impression to make the team
2.
Getting the units to function as a team
3.
Getting the coaches to work out kinks in schemes and coverages
4.
Getting into "game" mode and shape

Wins and losses mean absolutely nothing.
We have gone 4-0 and 0-4 and the gammut inbetween, and rarely has that corresponded into how we did in the regular season.

So, Rams fan, settle down and get a life.

I can think of some other things its good for.............

1.
Making sure the wings recipe is still good.
2.
Testing out the new recliner.

3.
Making sure the fridge still keeps favorite beverage cold.

I personally love watching pre-season football.


It gives all of us an inaccurate picture of what the upcoming season has in store for us.

An inacurate picture of what our rookies have for talent.

Inaccurate or not however,
I still love it.
It is the most exciting part of the football year since the previous season's Superbowl.

I don't care much about the W/L, it's just fun to see our favorite team playing the game we love to watch.
Who cares if it doesn't really count, it's still football, and it's still the Vikings.

With Bob Lee at the helm.
That was a huge upset.
The Rams could never get past us in the playoffs back then.
I know it is just a preseason game vs the Rams, but we need to get T-Jack all the snaps we can.
