    I'm Baaaaaaaaaaack!

That's right, Viking fans, I'm back.
Friday, August 10th is not too far away. . . that's the day our two teams snap the ball for the first time this year.

Are you ready for another defeat at the hands of the Rams?

I ask because we have made a few changes - we jettisoned the guys who couldn't play football, and added some who can.
Leonard Little is back, with help from James Hall.
Pace is back, and wanting another Pro Bowl year.
Bulger hasn't missed a pass in the OTA's or minicamp so far.
Randy McMichael is ready to open a hole up for Steven Jackson.
Drew Bennett is wanting to run over your defense to catch a pass or two in the endzone.
Bruce and Holt are looking like they did in 2001.
Brian Leonard is practicing his 'Leonard Leap', that's when he's running the ball, sees a DL in his way, and jumps OVER them to go down the field.

Dante Hall is ready to return kicks and punts.
Pisa is back, in good health, and is ready to smack some heads.
And, in the middle of our D, we have some guy named Adam Carriker - BMI of less than 2% body fat.
    315 pounds of nastiness.

The fridge has been stocked with beer, the Plasma TV is on it's way, and the leather couch is in position.

Are YOU ready for some football?

    Re: I'm Baaaaaaaaaaack!

Are you seriously trash talking about a preseason game?

I agree that the Rams are a much better team this year.

Steven Jackson is a top 3 RB in the NFL IMO.

Little is a great speed rusher.

Pace is the best offensive tackle of this era, and should have another good year.

Dante Hall is a great pick up for the Rams, I've watched quite a bit of Rams football over the past few years, my friend with Sunday Ticket's dad is from Los Angeles so hes a big fan. And his favorite phrase is "Rams special teams sure are 'special'" so Hall is an excellent edition.

Carriker is going to be awesome, I really like him.... but your "BMI of less than 2% body fat" is the stupidest thing I've heard all week. The BMI doesn't have anything to do with body fat, it's just a height to weight ratio. Every single NFL player would be considered obese by this scale, because of their muscle mass. And professional body builders don't have less than 2% body fat, that is dangerously low. I'd probably say Carriker is around 10-12%.

Leonard will be a good FB, he is an RU boy after all.

Congrats on the beer and plasma though.

    All this for preseason?

    Get a life.
I do not even care if we do not win a preseason game.
As long as the coaches get what they need out of it.

Yeah - all this for pre-season.
    It's football. . .

And I'm preparing myself for the inevitable SF Whiner bullcrap.
You guys have the packers, we have the whiners.
    You know the kind: "We got five rings. . . . duh. . . . uh. . . . you suck. . . . . "
The kind of fans who have nothing positive to say about the other team. . .

    Sorry, I am stoked.
I want to see how the young kids play.
I have a feeling that both the Rams and the Vikes came out with a really good draft this year.

    Re: I'm Baaaaaaaaaaack!

hmmm.....talking smack about a pre season game that is fairly insignicant in the big picture.

    preseason is for

    1.
Making that one last impression to make the team
    2.
Getting the units to function as a team
    3.
Getting the coaches to work out kinks in schemes and coverages
    4.
Getting into "game" mode and shape

Wins and losses mean absolutely nothing.
We have gone 4-0 and 0-4 and the gammut inbetween, and rarely has that corresponded into how we did in the regular season.

So, Rams fan, settle down and get a life.
