Yeah, read that again because it's fairly astounding. Unger -- a former second-round pick -- is entering his third season with the Seahawks, and he has been here longer than any other lineman on the team.

You can't fake continuity. Not on the offensive line. It's something that only develops over time, and Seattle is largely starting from scratch up front after an offseason in which the Seahawks decided to truly rebuild up front after years of patches and short-term fixes. They drafted two rookies to start on the right side, signed Robert Gallery to play left guard and moved Unger from right guard to center, the position he was really drafted to play.

The way the Chargers lit that secondary up one would think they would have been bringing in everybody that is available for a look.

Anyone who thinks our secondary is bad should watch that group.

Anticipation on my part is to see some of the intermediate stuff worked into this weeks gameplan with an increased focus on using our backs underneath after that has been established.

I am not surprised that Rice did not want to talk about the Vikings. That would distract from talking about the only thing he ever wants to talk about. Sidney Rice.

Seahawks have signed DB Atari Bigby a deal after he visited the team

Pointless and meaningless speculation is all this is. We haven't even seen a glimpse of our team as half our starters didn't even play last week. Basically the same for the chickens. I guess it may be amusing to speculate one way or another but in the end that's all it is.

Well, there are a couple that take it pretty serious. For those instances, all you have to do is throw some wild ass speculation out there and watch the fireworks.
