That's about the same as they told me when we were up against: Thomas Jones, Willis McGahee, Maroney/Dillon, Frank Gore and Ahman Green.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

I think we will take the same approach that we did with Favre.

Coaches said that we sat back in a Zone waiting for him to throw INTs, that easy INT never happened.
I think we will try the same philosophy with Joey.

Make him beat us, stop the run.
Not much different than we have been doing.

Nasty, I like how Griff looks.
Excited about our D players from the draft.
    Blue, Griff and Greenway.

    BTW, welcome back.
    The INT will come.
    Joey cant help himself.

I forgot you guys got Blue too.
    How has he been?
Both Blue and Griff are in the same boat.
Limited playing time for the most part, with special team duties.
Neither one of them stands out as "burnt toast."
Blue can lay the lumber and so can Griff, and that is what I like about them the most so far.

Griffin had 2 really nice pass defenses last week replacing Smoot, and was in good coverage all day.
except for when he got toasted by driver for an 82 yd td.

i could be wrong, but isnt jason taylor a left end?
if so he'd line up against marcus johnson, not Bryant McKinney.

That wasn't on Griffin. That was either on Smith or Sharper. He split both safeties, which should NOT happen in that situation.

Hopefully our Offense pulls it's collective head out of it's a$$ and we win. We will hold Brown under 100 yards and Harrington will lose yet again to the vikes!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

He is a RDE, but he plays with his hands down, standing back as an LB in a 3-4 or even over as a LDE. He is multi faceted and playing lights out right now. Both his picks and near picks for TD, came with him playing LDE.

I am sure he is licking his chops to go against BJ.

and what was the final result in 4/5 of those games and nearly the 5th?

    Re: Fin Fan here...

in all hte games they had to play against good runners

    week one: clinton portis
    39 yds
    W
week two: Deangelo williams 74 yds
deshaun foster, 26 yds on 13 carries
    W
week three: Thomas Jones 54 yds
    L
    week four: willis mcgahee
    78 yds
    L
week five: kevin jones 8 yds (16 total rushing yards)
    W
    week six: bye
week seven: maurice morris 49 yds
    W
week eight: Cory dillon 5yds, Lauence marooney 34 yds
    L
    week nine: frank gore
    41 yds
    L
week ten: ahman green 55 yds
    L

as you can see, they have yet to have one player rush for more than 80 yds, and only two players even came close.
ad out of all those backs, there is only one there that i would not rate as a top-half back in the league.
do you honestly think ronnie brown will blow them away and top 100?
he's not better than guys like green, gore, mcgahee or portis.
