Welcome back FinNasty - based on the last few games them I'm sure that we'll be able to handle Ronnie. As said before its the passing game that could be our undoing in terms of you scoring, however if you say that's a bad part of your game then life could be interesting on Sunday.
The way we have had problems scoring then we could be looking at another FG kicking match - like we did againgst the 49ers.

Looking forward to a good game - think it will be better for you with DC not starting

JoeyH blows... so it will be interesting.
Ronnie is going to have a tough time, but if his groin is healthy, he will put a hurting on your D just with his physical style of running.
The Bears D didnt want to have anything to do with Ronnie by the 4 Qtr.
But Fat Pat is going to make it hard.

Ya, I think this is going to be a defensive match.
    Expect a low scoring game.

And I WISH we had Pepper right now starting for us instead of Joey...
We have the #1 rush defense in the NFL only allowing 2.9 yards per carry. If there is one thing I would be shocked at is if you guys run the ball on us. I will not be shocked if Joey throws for 400 yards or if you win 28-0 but if you run I would be surprised.

I think we will take the same approach that we did with Favre.

Coaches said that we sat back in a Zone waiting for him to throw INTs, that easy INT never happened.
I think we will try the same philosophy with Joey.

Make him beat us, stop the run.
Not much different than we have been doing.

Nasty, I like how Griff looks.
Excited about our D players from the draft.
    Blue, Griff and Greenway.

    BTW, welcome back.
    The INT will come.
    Joey cant help himself.

I forgot you guys got Blue too.
    How has he been?
Both Blue and Griff are in the same boat.
Limited playing time for the most part, with special team duties.
Neither one of them stands out as "burnt toast."
Blue can lay the lumber and so can Griff, and that is what I like about them the most so far.

Griffin had 2 really nice pass defenses last week replacing Smoot, and was in good coverage all day.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

He's also tackling really well. He reminds me of Winfield with a lot of the plays he makes.

Griffin looks like hes going to be a solid CB. I was upset when we drafted him, but maybe it was a good pick.

Taylor is going to be in Brad Johnsons face ALL day, thats what scares me. We will stop Miami's run, but our D front 4 is suspect for a pass rush.
You that confident you are going to stop Ronnie?
You have a great run D, but Ronnie has been gashing some teams lately.
Only problem is that he hurt his groin vs. KC last week...
No one runs on the Vikings - I don't care who it is.
    Frank Gore couldn't.
    Thomas Jones couldn't.
    DeShaun Foster couldn't.
    Ahman Green couldn't.
    Corey Dillon/Laurence Maroney couldn't.
    Willis McGahee couldn't.

If the Fins pin their hope to Ronnie Brown getting big yards, it's going to be a long day for Nick Saban.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Well... the Fins have the #4 rush defense in the NFL.
Both of us need our ground games to be going for our offense to have any success.
AKA... it will be a long day for both of us.

It is going to come down to BJohnson vs. JoeyH... very frightening for both teams...

However, at the end I think it is going to come down to defense.
Whichever team's defense makes the most plays... wins this one IMO.
(and our defense has been making alot of plays
    ;D )

You've provided a lot of insight-I just wanted to say thnx for beating the Bears. Everyone had them up so high and then you proved not only that you were to be taken seriously, but that the Bears aren't nearly as good as everyone claims them to be. It proved that if you play well against them(not amazing) and don't make mistakes they are beatable. Anyway, what I see is a game with the running backs breaking off 1-2 big runs a piece but mostly being held to 2 yrd gains the rest of the time. This game will come down to which qb makes the most/biggest mistakes and who gets turnovers. If the Vikes D looks fired up even when they are down, I think we'll win. As I said before, the main problem with our team right now is heart. I see no fire coming from anybody in the offense, and most of the defense.
Wait, if there's cat food in this bag............................
I HAVE TO CHECK ON JOLLY!!!!

I think that statement pretty much says it all for this game.
    ;D
Its too bad that the game we will be playing is not the game we all thought it would be at the start of the season.
We thought we would be riding high and challenging the Bears for the top of the North and you thought Daunte would be leading you back to a winning record and was the answer to your prayers for a top QB.

Alas we are two struggling teams waiting to see which will struggle less on Sunday.

But Heath Evans is averaging 35 yds a carry against us if you can find a clone of him (and Tom Brady) your set.

A smart, accurate QB can find the soft spots in our defense and pick it apart.
    Unfortunately you have harrington... ;D

This is going to be a low scoring game, but I will call it Vikes 10-Miami 9.
No TDs for BJ, but one on a Smoot interception.

    Good News for Vikes fans...

NT Kieth "Tractor" Traylor is going to be out for Sundays game.
He is a big part of our rush defense.

It isnt going to be that big of a blow though... because we still have Dan "Big Daddy" Wilkerson behind him, as well as a promising rookie in Fred Evans...

But never the less... Traylor is a BEAST.
Its never good news that we wont have him...
