Re: Dallas to rest most starters

This is an NFC Rival Game. Dallas will show up and play hard to win....I believe with there regulars. After watching the Giants do that tonight gave me more confidence that the Cowboys will play there starters.

Can we win at mile high against the 8 man stacked box?? What game plan does Childress call for Denver?? Can Tarvaris make some plays??

Those are pehaps better questions to think about

    Cheers!

    Yes, thank you.
That's been my point all week.
Here's a team that has been winning all year, and is used to winning.
Now they are suppose to lay down to their division rival with a chance of kicking them out?
Last nights game should show you that teams will fight for a win even when it doesn't matter playoff wise.
    GO COWBOYS!

It is important that T-Jack is afforded the opportunity to make some plays on first and second down with his arm. We do have to run the ball effectively, but we must win this game before(while) we hope Dallas wins. Win or lose this has been a great season to build on for next year. Go Vikings!!

The Vikings had one golden chance. We didn't capitalize. If Dallas's subs pull off a surprise and we beat the Broncos, it would be a gift.

No matter what happens in the other game, I hope the Vikings beat the Broncos and then hold their heads up.

    Go Vikings!

Re: Dallas to rest most starters

Given Romo's play last year after an extra week off, I think Dallas will play him this week just so he doesn't have to deal with the media pressure of him resting and reliving last year's performance.

That, and this would be like Us laying down and letting Green Bay walk all over us.
    It isn't going to happen.

Brittle Brad will find a way to win the game for the Boys.

    That would rock.

cowboys still will play tough defense, but they just won't score as much as normal. lets hope for something on special teams to turn the game to help the cowboys
    We're bringing purple back.

I completely agree with this. We shot ourselves in the foot last week... or Chilly shot us in the foot by leaving McCauley on Moss all night (one of the dumbest moves I've EVER seen).
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

    http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/2007-12-28-18231383_x.htm
    Dallas players declared inactive:

    Terrell Owens
    Terence Newman
    Patrick Watkins
    Andre Gurode

    That is it.
    Everyone else will suit up.
Who knows how long they will play, or IF they will play.
But everyone else is still suiting up.

I think there is something else to be said about entering the playoffs on a loss - even if you are the #1 seed.
I thin kDallas will want to keep the momentum going, especially against a team that they stand the chance of meeting again in the playoffs should they lose today...
