If the vikings we expected at the beginning of the season show up:

1.39 TD Daunte
2. no (Hes an idiot)
3. Yes
4. As long as we blitz orton and force rookie mistakes
5. 27-13 Good Guys

I think those are good questions.
I think it is fairly obvious that one thing the Bears have going for them is a solid coach, so I dont like Tice over Smith.
But I do think we could run the ball and the good Daunte will be in th house. And more and more, I really like our chances in this game.

I think running & passing will be difficult against the Bears defense. No matter how good we are or how poor they are, the Bears always play us tuff. I don't recall a blowout in past history, just a lot of tooth & nail football.

I think we'll have the edge in turnovers if our offense shows up. I don't hear a lot of good things about Orton yet.

Knowing our standard gameplan I expect us to attempt to run the ball against the bears, Daunte to turn the ball over a couple of times, take no shots downfield and make no adjustments at halftime, oh and did I mention that we'll make Benson, Muhammed and Orton look like all-pros.

But I still think we'll win.

Daunte comes out slingin' the pigskin this week.
Look for around 50 passes from the big man.
Running game will be abandoned early. Except for Daunte running for his life.
This could be one of Daunte's greatest passing games of his career.

Look for a shootout at soldier field.
Vikes WILL win, but by no more than 6 points.
That is my prediction.
