No, I would not begin to defend the kind of sentiment that would want someone injured.
I did think that Jared Allen came very close with some of his pronouncements and subsequent conduct on the field, but that is a whole other argument that we have already had.
Here is what I replied to Mr. pot-stirrer Grizz:
I want him to eat sod. I want him on his back. I want to see him shaking his head in wonderment at the absolute snotclobbering he is absorbing.
Hurt?
Hurting...Damn straight.
Injured?
Not in a million years.
Or do they not support cancer awareness over there in Packer land?

As an aside, let it be known that both forums are getting "played" by the Grizz. imo.
I don't mind, just keep it in mind.
He is the Grizz, after all.

Green and gold and pink
The NFL is thinking pink. It's getting on the breast cancer awareness bandwagon this weekend.
You'll see pink wristbands, ribbons, gloves, caps, helmet decals, patches and towels. You'll see pink padding on the goal posts. You'll even see pink coins at the pregame coin flip.
You'll most notice some players wearing pink cleats.
Among the Packers' players tentatively scheduled to do so: QB Aaron Rodgers, RB Ryan Grant, LB Aaron Kampman, WR Donald Driver, S Atari Bigby, LB Nick Barnett, WR Jordy Nelson, WR James Jones, CB Will Blackmon and RB Brandon Jackson.

I think it is classless to wish injury on ANYBODY.
And this is one of the rare times that I am not at risk of being some degree of a hypocrite.
This has been my mantra for years.Zeus wrote:

Wishing injury on ANY NFL player is totally classless in my book.

Absolutely classless. Very bad energy. I do believe they have just cursed themselves. This afternoon, Milwaukee Sports radio station WSSP AM 1250 afternoon "The Big Show" show hosts, Ex-Packer Gary Ellerson and Josh Vernier did a whole one hour bit on how they hope the Packers somehow hurt Favre, and whether or not it's classless for Packer fans to cheer for this.
They built their case for Injuring Favre around all of the "Wrong" that Favre had done to the Green Bay fans and organization, all this discussed as Ellerson and Vernier laughed on air while discussing the various ways that the Packers defense could, and should "Put Favre Out".
They even "jokingly" mentioned compound fractures, concussions, and even going as far toying with the prospects of spine boards and paralysis
Does anybody here agree with "The Big Show"?
If Allen has a chance to crippled Rodgers should he take it?
This radio show discussion should clear up any possible confusion as to why they are called cheeseheads. Smelly, dehydrated, fermented milk that has a tendency to cause constipation. Cheeeez heds.
Personally, I don't think there is intelligent life on other planets. Why should other planets be any different from this one?
