Re: Can you stop Favre and the passing game?

If the Vikes lose it will be because of the Lambeau "12th man" (the guy in the striped shirt) or the guy in the headset (Childress), not Farve (spelling corrected). Remember how Farve started the last game by flinging yet another pick? Hmmm... bad story line, let's call it back. Apart from the obvious ref bias, I'd hope that Farve could play forever.

Other note.. anyone notice AP seems to have a amazing game then follows it up with a so so effort.. hoping for the so so effort.
It's a little early in his career to project trends, don't you think?

Come now.. pulling at straws to try to make any type of point that AP might not run through us like swiss cheese again.

Yep, blame it on the refs.. I seem to remember bad calls going both ways that Sunday.. but pick out the ones that favor you.

Are you saying he did not earn his yards? I was at the game, believe me he was running east and west at times, then he blew past defenders for the TD. Watch the highlights again.
No, I am saying.. not letting him get yards and TD's on long run.. force him to take them at a 4 to 6 yard per carry clip.. not a 10 to 15 like we gave him the first game. East - West running on turf is a little different on grass.. he still we cut and make people miss but each cut will take a little more time.. thus allowing us, hopefully, to close the gaps on the explosive runs.

Too bad for the Pack. He seem fine in Chicago on the grass!

I hate when people blame the refs.
    Bad calls eventually balance out...
It is up to the defender not to make the foul or the impression of the foul.

Refs are doing there job and there is no doubt it is one of the toughest jobs there is to see everything and be right all the time.

Hey but the Bears suck... there defense isn't anywhere near the beginning of last year.. so I have a little faith.

The Packers are a legitimate 7-1, that's for sure.
They've played solid football and made plays when they've needed to make them.
There's a reason they are favored.

Bears created 5 turnovers, 2 INT's and 3 Fumbles... while only giving 1 INT.
If the Vikes do the same they will win.
Keep BF on the sidelines and all is good.

Thanks for the props.. but I do believe that we have our hands full come Sunday.. at least we can load up the box and let Harris and Woodson cover the wides, and hope the Chilly tries to throw the ball and remain balanced...

Maybe the tribune should write an article about Taylor not getting enough carries to justify his contract.. Chilly might by that.
    ;D
