Their offensive line is swiss cheese. Just bull rush right to the QB. Put Kyle "Neckbeard" Orton on the ground a few times and he'll be ineffective.
that's what people said about the 49ers to, many sacks.
the pressure was good but we can't get the sack ( not that i mind the pressure is good on itself )

We gotta get some pressure on hime tho. We didn't have that many sacks last game. Lets put Orton in a position he doesn't wanna be in. (No Homo)

Re: Bears to start Orton ahead of Griese against Vikings

i have said that they should start orton ever since he practically took them to the playoffs the first year they were good.

Grossman is too much of a loose cannon. Orton was able to manage the game when he played pretty much a whole season.

But i think it's a pro for both the bears and the vikes. vikes get a qb that has been getting reps with the starting team for only a week. and the bears get a qb that has avtually won them some games
i m better than you, so just give up...

With Rex Grossman hurt and Brian Griese continually ineffective, Chicago Bears coach Lovie Smith will turn to No. 3 quarterback Kyle Orton, who has not played at all this season, to start against the Minnesota Vikings next Monday night.
Actually, this sucks because we haven't seen Orton play yet.
It is hard to game plan for someone who you have no tape on...
I agree not a lot of flim on Orton. I swear the Vikes are always getting some other QB besides the starter.
Not that that's a bad thing!

There's a reason starters are starters and backups are backups. Sometimes a backup will come through and impress everybody.

Kyle Orton is not that backup.
I just remember when Doug Flutie came in after the San Diego Fires and lit us up!
I remember when Chad Hutchinson came in for the Bears against the Vikes and WON in 2004.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

If I remember right, Orton was good because he didn't make terrible mistakes and did just enough to let the Bears D get the win.

Now, the Bears D is not that good and he is a few more years a veteran, so this should be interesting.

Dont let him stand in a pocket GAINING confidence.
He is young and inexperienced.....rattle his chain from the beginning.
It should not be our defense back on our heals...it should be Orton back on his heals from the beginning!

As far as Hester is concerned.....kick off to him and tell the special teams that anyone that gets outside of their lane will be cut!

I hate giving a team the ball at the 40... and we shouldnt have to as long as nobody gets caught out of position!
Longwell....eat your Wheaties on game day and kick them through the endzone!

Your kidding right?? I mean if we even allow Hester to touch one kickoff or punt the coaches of Special Teams should be Cut/Fired. This guy is just about the only hope the Bears have on Monday Night. He's very dangerous and our kicking coverage as of late hasn't exactly inspired me.

    Cheers!

    The Bears had their shot.

Their defense isn't getting any younger.

    Their offense is inept.

They don't have any good QB's.

They are in a downward spiral.
