Apology from Carolina

I was really disapointed with how low Gamble came in on Culpepper and on his direct aim to the knee. I would not be surprised if he was fined.

When I first saw it I thought his head was scrambled from Minter taking him out high. The moronic announcers were talking "helmet to helmet" by Minter but it wasn't even close. The second replay showed the violence of the Gamble hit and I didn't like it one bit. It's one thing to come in hard on a qb pushing it too far. And Culpepper is big enough to take two guys to bring him in. But he went right for the knee and should pay a fine.

As for the rest of the game....well, I couldn't ask for anything more. We finally took a team out like I know we're capable of. Good luck the rest of the way.

yeah he did go head hunting. its a shame. and hes a ****ing rookie.

Thanks for the luck...and he did come in low. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, I certainly hope it wasn't. I guess that's the way football goes though, there's always that chance of getting hurt. Good game, you guys really tore us up.

There was no doubt in my mind it was intentional. Look at where he was on the field and the angle he took .... I couldn't believe their wasn't a penalty, but at least the league will get him in the wallet, where these guys really feel it and care.

I disagree totally that Culpepper was going down. Minter got him high from the inside and I would love Gamble if he had just hit him in the waist or thigh.

Culpepper is a big guy and it is rare that one guy takes him down but Minter did. Gamble came in too low and you just can't let players go for the knees of the marquee players.

And I don't think either Favre or Gamble are too worried about you paying them a "visit". :roll:

I'd love to see Gamble apologize, i loved the guy until today. now i have a mild disrespect for him.

Iys too bad when QB's or any player is targeted with a cheap shot.

In the end, they will get what is coming to them.
