Re: Zygi Wilf & Adrian Peterson to visit Brainerd

hey how often do they come up here? Like never! I have to travel to training camp every year to get my stuff done. It took 4 years to get Randy Moss autograph on the limited edition ball from his first years stats and his smiling face printed on the ball....Its a nice Worthy ball now if he can just came back to MN and win a SB with us it would even be better. (yeah right) another idiot dreaming running the randy back to mn
line) but actually I am happy with whom we have now.

A confident Adrian Peterson sees no reason why he can't break the 2,000-yard barrier or even win the MVP this year.

Re: Zygi Wilf & Adrian Peterson to visit Brainerd

LOVE that KFAN interview with Peterson and Wilf!!!!!!!!
    The fans are so excited!
    The kids are so stoked!!!
I can feel the energy from that room all the way out here in CO!

I have the sudden certainty that Wilf "gets it."
He understands that he needs to win the hearts of Minnesotans to get a stadium!!
And, more than since before Red took over, I feel like there is a future there, and that he'll find a way to make it happen.

...having those fans there, that 12th man is as important as anything else.
Never underestimate what you as fans do as inspiration for our team.
I know that Adrian will tell you and that our whole team will tell you that you are the most important element in making this a championship team and we need you.
ON what brought you (Wilf) and Adrian here today...

Well we wanted to do a little fishing, but ahh...and we're going to continue to go around the state and reach out to the fans and reach out to the kids, our future fans, and make sure that they understand, that the players on the team, that they're a team that we, that the kids can really be proud of.
This is something that is very, very important.
As I've stated before to everybody here in MN, that they have a team that they can be proud of.
A winning team, but a team of character and that's what we have right now.
Peterson, on "middle of the season, a lot of people writing you guys off...but going into that San Diego game, did you guys (the team) feel that you had a 4 or 5 game win streak in you?"

Yeah, we definitely knew it was possible.
If you look at some of the previous games beforehand, it was a field goal here or a missed block or just really, just simple basic things that was keeping us from the victory.
But we just went into that game with a different mindset...But, you know, that big play (SanDiego had) before half time...I didn't sense any kind of, you know, guys with their head down or that the momentum had been taken out of us at all, I didn't sense that.
And I expected to come out and have a big second half.
I really, really, really like where this team is headed!
I think Wilf has a passion for football, and a passion for winning that he shares with the team and AP in particular!
McCheapskate only had passion for money.

    BAAAWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
    LOOK OUT NFL!
    THE VIKINGS ARE COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!
