Thread: Zygi making the right noises

Well it's early days and maybe too soon to start declaring him as the second coming, however he seems to be looking at all aspects of the Vikes organisation. Seems strange thst the first two jobs he has marked down are installing air-con and renovating the viking longship at the entrance. I know they might not be considered earth shattering things in comparison to new players or the stadium issue, but he seems to be looking to give the entire organisation a makeover.

Zygy recognizes the importance of little, yet significant improvements. Like an old boss of mine (outstanding businessman) said once: "Take care of the pennies, and the nickels will take care of themselves"

Repairing the a/c just makes sense on a practical level. Call it employee morale. Happy staff breeds productivity and loyalty.

The longship? Totally symbolic! Think about it: Red allowed the longship (and the team) to just drift along, with very little TLC.

Zygy "gets" what tradition means, this is a great statement he's making.

I saw the Rooney article as well - I'm SO happy he's going after that mindset, and not Red's.

Its always better to make fast nickels rather than slow dimes.
