Ohh man GBS, you actually wore a Favray jersey? What did you end up doing with it when you became a Vikes fan?

The rigors of Spartan life. Leonidas is cast out into the wild, and survives the harsh winter to return to his home, when he is crowned King ....a Viking!

Re: Yes.. I am a converted fan
atleast for you bro that cardinals game was only your first absolutely devistating heartbreak. U wouldnt have want to have been a fan that fatefull day in 99. I cant even talk about it anymore its still to this day devistating. I felt like someone shot me in the stomach with a speargun when morten anderson made that field goal, ill never forget it. But in a way it made me love the vikings even more

Re: Yes.. I am a converted fan
Hey ill admit i was once a packer fan when i didnt know anything about football, only knew two teams existed in the packers and niners, couldnt stand the niners so i took up with the packers.
Soccer team was called the packers and had green and gold.
However my uncle shed lgiht to me and told me one year that farve was horrible and about to retire. The next year i started picking up football and followed my uncles advice to pick a new team since i didnt know any better.
On a monday night i saw the vikes playing the bucs with an undefeated record and took them being a former bandwagon fan and liked the illusional blue colored jerseys that were really purple.
Since then ive been a diehard fan and followed the right team rather than a team that boasts about 10 championchips being in the 1930's and 1940's. and any time before the sixties. Pretty pathetic.Hupo oe ke kau ana i ka waiupa a ma kou pa o & Hupo na Po o waiupa a

Congrats, I bet the conversion was like having a football-sized tumor removed. It must have blown your friends away when your IQ skyrocketed.

Re: Yes.. I am a converted fan
Well.. My brother wasn't really a fan when I converted.. But now he is a die hard pack fan.. It disgusts the rest of the Mineesota born Vikings Family.
My dad always says how the Vikings set you up, and then break your heart.. He's right, haha.
But we come back each year.i m better than you, so just give up...

Re: Yes.. I am a converted fan
That's ok, my folks were Bears fans, so that's the team I said I was a fan of before I started following the sport. Once I started actively following football, I was a Viking fan. That was sometime around 1990.
