Re: This years biggest impact player

This team is going to win or lose depending on how Jackson does under center.

    TJ gets my vote.

With AP keeping him fresh, Taylor should be able to run the ball through any defense.
    I agree.
I think that as well as AP may do, I think it will really help Chester more and he will have a tremendous season this year.
I am more excited for Chester than AP.

Re: This years biggest impact player

I am a firm believer that every skill person's success is highly reliant on the O-line.
I realize this conculusion is not due to rocket science, however, this is proven through football history, Vikes included.
A young QB has no shot, ever, if his O-line doesn't step up.
See Joey Harrington, any recent Browns or Raiders QB, or David Carr.
We need at least two, more likely, three, Pro-Bowl level contributions to be successful in 2007 IMO.
Certainly a great running back or a decisive QB can help make an O-line look good...but, it's hard for defenses to make plays if they are being blocked.

Because the O-line is a unit of five, six (TE), or, arguably,7, (FB), this is really not a fair question.

As far as biggest singular impact player...that will be TJ.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

I feel Peterson will be an obvious pick.
Didnt everyone feel REAL excited when the draft pick
    was announced?
He could be called the franchise by game three this season.
Lets just hope Tjack will stepup to the job.
But lets hope we get a real steal of a pick with Brian Roberson.
I feel he could be a probowl caliber athlete.

I'd vote "none of the above" if it were an option.

I'm surprised there isn't one defensive player listed. What about our place kicker? Our offense smacks of mediocrity and I think the viking player that will make the greatest impact will play on the defense.

Anything has gotta be a better impact than Brad Johnson!
I with you on that, cut down on the turnovers, get the offense some TD's

This will be a big change over last year.

People were excited when Tim Couch, Alkili Smith, and Ryan Leaf were picked.

    Get my drift?
