A year-by-year breakdown of the Vikings
I don't know how long this link has existed on PP.O, but I was the first one to find & "hit" it, so I don't think anyone is aware of it. It has a very nice link to a year by year look at the Vikings in terms of records, stats & rosters.
I'm sure it will be helpful to some, so I thought I'd share it....

Re: A year-by-year breakdown of the Vikings
Good link.
Makes me sad to see a visual that shows out playoff drought so vividly. :'(
We went to the playoffs 8 out of 9 years from 92 to to 2000.
Since then we have only gone once in seven years.
We haven't hosted a home playoff game since January 6th, 2001.
That drought needs to change this year!

When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: A year-by-year breakdown of the Vikings
It wil change for sure. Just look at
what has happened since Wilfs have taken over. The no bull crap is over. We have rules to follow as a team. Our draft class has been superior, I of all
people am atarting to have confidence in Chilly the willy, I cant believe I just said that. But we made moves to get players in here to get the job done. And just say on the outside chance that Tjack doesnt make it, Mr Booty will be waiting in thw waings if not competeing already to win the job this year. It is very intrigiueing coming this year.I am THE #1 Sidney Rice #18 Fan ever! Don't Be surprised when this kid IS a superstar! He is humble, smart, tough, talented and has alot of character! Takes alot of pride in his work, team, fans and life. Watch out for this kid! I think he is awesome! Everytime he touches the ball its MAGIC!

I do like that we have only ever come last in the division a few times.
1984, 3-13
5th NFC Central
1966 4-9-1 T-6th NFL West
1961 3-11

Great link... Heaps of stats for all the number crunchers to misinterpret, draw crazy conclusions from, and just plain back up poor ideas with selective facts....
Oh I think I just describe some of my posts
;D
Nevermind.

1961 to 1973.... 13 years no playoffs
1974 lost 1st round playoff to the Vikes

1973 lost 1st round playoff to Rams
1975 to 1981... 6 years no playoffs
1982 lost 1st round to Pack
1983 to 1997... 15 years no playoffs
1998 WON 1st round over Cowgirls... lost 2nd round to Vikes
1999 to 2007... 9 years no playoffs
If you want to go farther back, before the Vikes entered the league, the Cards had a playoff winning drought from 1948 to 1998... 50 years!!!
I've lived in AZ since 1986... I might have made the Cards my 2nd favorite team if I wouldn't have had to go on anti-depressents.
So every time I get disappointed at the Vikes, I just look at a Cards fan... it's like being hungry and looking at pictures of Ethiopian children, you feel sorry for them and feel foolish in your disappointment.

They changed the look a little a few months ago but the info should stay the same.
There may be a need for the site to be mentioned so that we don't violate any of those laws.
