Thread: Is this the year

i have been a vikings fan for 9 years i have liked them since 3rd grade i am a senior in high school and i have never been this excited for the vikings i really want to win it this year we deserve a super bowl and we should get a super bowl

also what would be awesome is if we knock off 2 unbeaten teams in the playoffs colts and saints

would be pretty special.

This is probably the best shot we've had since 98, We can do it, but it will take some work.

Only thing tha tworries me is Brinkley starting and whoever gets the start between Tyrell and Sanford. They both played well last game, but they weren't really challenged at all. Against the saints they most certainly will be.

To answer your question, I don't know if this is the year... until they do it it's going to just be speculation. But I do know that if they win the Superbowl there are VIkings fans out there who have been waiting their whole lives for it to happen...

BTW - S'aints just lost. If they lose either of the next two games (their division opponents) I believe the Vikes will have home-field through the NFC championship .... assuming the Vikes can win out the final three of the season.

As far as the original post goes, I'd say we have as good a shot as anybody that makes the playoffs in the NFC. You just never know what can happen in the playoffs though. Depends on the way the ball bounces, it's the time when you need to not only be good, but also lucky.

Here's to hoping this IS our year!
