I would rather have corporate sponsorship. Than have to pay a $1000.00 a seat just for the rite to keep my season tickets that Ive had for six years. Like they did to the Bears fans! I don't care what they call it I call it a RIP OFF!!!I posted this on one of the other threads, and I totally agree with you JimFlyinsaucer--No corporate sponsorhip! (like that will happen)
I propose . . .
(Bronko) Nagurski Field.
doesn't sound much better than that!GO VIKINGS GO !!!! AND THE PACK STILL BLOWS !!!!!!

YAY... finally some progress
As many problems as they are having getting this stadium plan to go through, I could really care less what they call it, as long as they get one and we don't have to worry about our team being moved to San Antonio or LA. They can name it McDonald's Stadium for all I care :rr:
God Bless America, & the MINNESOTA VIKINGS!!!

Didn't Nagurski play for the packers? I realize he is from northern Minnesota, but if he played for the packers I don't want anything to do with naming our stadium after him.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

He played for the Gophers, The Vikings 3 years
and then the Bears.
Also I could care less what the call the stadium as
long as It keeps us in MN.Green Bay police station toilet stolen.
Cops say they have nothing to go on.

Oh, that's right it was the bears! I can handle it being called Nagurski stadium then, but I would have to agree with VIKE58 with the corporate sponsorship. I don't want to pay a ton more money to go to the games!

Sorry guys, corporate sponsorship is the ONLY way to go. What is wrong with that anyway? That is what keeps the costs to the fans down. Don't get me wrong, it is still expensive for my family of 4 to go to 10 games a year, but it would be a lot worse without corporate sponsorship if we get a new stadium.
I am all for it...how about....LAND O' LAKES STADIUM!

I am happy for that, of course it wont cost me because I live in WI. I still think they should work on getting one stadium and bring the Golphes back in the mix. If the state is flipping the bill the state should have the say not the teams.
I think the 1.1. billion is alot. but then again WI spend 1 billion on a ball park and the Renovations of Lambeau. I hate to say but I like the way Lambeau looks on the outside but the problem is all they did was fix that and not add enough seats. If they wanted guaranteed money make the stadium seat 90 k and add 20k season ticket holders. Guaranteed $300k each year for the tickets plus the other money brought in.
