Yahoo Offseason Power Rankings
Don't believe the hype

A quarter billion in potential contract dollars hasn’t bought the Oakland Raiders respect.
Despite an astronomical potential payout of more than $250 million in offseason deals, the Raiders are still bogged down in the bottom third of the league rankings. This despite adding a quartet of key players via trade and free agency – DeAngelo Hall (at a potential $70 million), Javon Walker ($55 million), Gibril Wilson ($39 million) and Kwame Harris ($14 million) – and retaining their own talent in Tommy Kelly ($50.5 million), Justin Fargas ($12 million) and Nnamdi Asomugha ($9.8 million via exclusive franchise tag).
17. Minnesota Vikings (8-8) – Madieu Williams and Bernard Berrian were quality pickups, even if they were overpriced. But Bryant McKinnie is in trouble again, and there still isn’t an answer at quarterback, so this still looks like a middling team.

Whew. That must have taken some serious brain cells to place the Vikes precisely where we're taking our draft pick this year. Hope he didn't give himself an aneurysm.

17th is a little low IMO. Packers at 10 with no Favre. Doubt it.

I don't think we are that good and I don't think we can consitantly beat the teams we should.
No one knows how we are going to respond to the swam AD defense that we faced but could not defeat.

Re: Yahoo Offseason Power Rankings
First impression: (took me exactly 4 seconds): Dallas at nr. 3 and Cleveland that high is a total joke.
Excuse me, but a team (Dallas) that can't tackle, does not deserve to be nr.3 !!!

Re: Yahoo Offseason Power Rankings
get used to it folks..until tjack shows he can provide some sort of certainty at the qb position, this is what people are gonna say..dont let it get you that upset
People who see life as anything more than pure entertainment are missing the point.

Re: Yahoo Offseason Power Rankings
i can't believe he put the slackers that high without precious farve to throw passes randomly and hope his guy catches it. Even without the Purple shades i probably would have put the Vikings atleast a few spots higher, with all the young talent that learned under fire last year.

VikesFan787, Thanks for the awesome sig!

Re: Yahoo Offseason Power Rankings
im glad we are not being over hyped as a "contender"
then there is no real pressure on the team
its good to be laying low, and until tjack shows he can be a solid starting qb we will be ranked in the mid pack
Pissing on the Pack since 08'
