    Xavier Adibi

Like him as a backup to Ole 56, he's still a young player and if nothing else provides a little umph to our razor thin LB core (behind Chad and EJ)

Love this signing! So much better than Herron.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

How did he play against us last week? Depth is nice, but is this guy a liability if he plays?

Not a world-beater... but more of a low risk/ high reward signing as he is young and had tons of talent coming out of Virginia Tech... his problem in college and the pros has been avoiding injuries (nagging or otherwise)

@ Mullet Mullitia-- yeah I was on edge with the Herron signing myself... just remembering how many times he screwed up a Kluwe punt inside the 5 by knocking it into the endzone during his first stint with our favorite team.

According to some Texan fan's Adibi was their best coverage linebacker but the knock on him was he played soft and of course the injuries.

Wow, this is a suprise, especially considering the Texans scheme and that they have their own LB'r injury issues.

The Texans had one of the worst defenses in all of football last year & we pick up their LB that wasn't even good enough to make their team when they are hurting at the LB position?

I'm going to go out on a limb & guess he wasn't a target because it saved them a ton of cap room.

He was also groomed as a OLB in a 4-3 defense that was switched to a ILB under Wade Phillips 3-4 scheme.

Could simply be a problem with the fit.

Don't focus on last year. You do know what they are trying to do down there right.

    Again, very suprising move.
