WR depth
After Taylor, Williamson and Robinson x 2 the WR depth is almost non existent. If one guy goes down its panic mode time, and two guys go down the Vikes will have to be in 2 WR sets all the time. I know they can always sign someone but there isnt much WR talent out there at the moment. Aaron Hosack is doing great in NFL Europe and hopefully he can bring it over here

Re: WR depth
There will be cuts from other teams that will be just as good as some of our backups. I would not sweat it. In with the young blood and out with the old blood, some of the old blood will be useable if necessary. There are always trades and such aquisitions from other teams.
Wave a few dollars and a football under Jerry Rice's nose, and he will suit up again......JK...LOL........ He is no hurry to get to Canton OH.

Re: WR depth
We have three WRs who have started in the NFL and an upcoming 2nd year WR with potential. That is really sin't that bad. Although it is not the elite WR corps that we had for many years in recent past, I do not think it will be a problem.

Re: WR depth
It won't be a problem if they all stay healthy, and you never know one of our undrafted pick ups might turn out great, and hosack is playing great stuff in NFL Europe.
Tell you what though, the most important player on this team will be Chester Taylor, if he doesn't run well then we will be forced to go to our receivers, which in turn will more likely lead to injury.

Teams can win the Superbowl with average WRs, Pats and Steelers are the most recent teams. Ward being the only big name WR and even then, he is known more for being an all around player than an elite WR.
Barring injuries, serious and many, we will be fine.
If that is the case, like WestCoast and Mensa pointed out, Charles Gordon can go both ways, on the field that is.
