Interesting idea...but I thought we were pretty set in at the safety position. With how good he is he's probably going to go in the first round next year. I have a feeling we might have to go back to LB first round next draft too... What do you think?

Oh man I'd be a dream come true for us to snag him.Groom him under Sharper.Sharper can then pass the toarch on down to him when he retires.Hes a stud.

I am hoping that after this year that we have a good enough core of starters and backups that we can take the best player available instead of having to target a position.

Maybe so...we SHOULD'VE taken Derrick Johnson two drafts ago!

Right on man. I feel the same way. I may be wrong, but I feel like our "depth" at safety is extremely short-termed.

Planning for the next 5 or 6 years may seem like a stretch now, but lets see how things fall into place.
