Re: Would you take a QB if you were GM for a day?
NO!Do you tell them yes or no?Kentucky Vikes Fan

When you require nothing, you get nothing; when you expect nothing, you will find nothing; when you embrace nothing, all you will have is nothing.

Your phone rings.
The Chiefs are on the other line and they are asking if you have any interested in Trent Green.
Do you tell them yes or no?
What would you give up for him?
Then you evaluate what they are asking for the player against how much you would need said player.
What the Chiefs would be asking, I probably wouldn't pay if I were a Vikings GM
That is the question that is asked.
What would you give for Green?
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

A seventh and restructure his contract (Green's cap charge in 2007 is $9.15 million - Rotoworld).
Miami is offering a sixth and we have less need for him.
Definetely not Bollinger, Cajun has lost it.

Bollinger has a better QB rating & percent completion record, while Henson hasn't thrown a pass in a regular season game since 2004.

TJ, Bollinger, and Green on roster.
Thigpen (y'know the seventh round rookie) on practice squad.
Henson is lucky to even sniff Thigpen's jock.
He couldn't find a team last year after we cut him until we had injuries and had to resign him.

But lets face it. We'll not be making this move, so there is no point in talking cuts.
My initial point were that Bollinger for Green would be a good switch for the Vikings.
