This makes me laugh. I have always been skeptical the Peppy was just good because he had the tools to suceed( Carter, Smith, Moss, Burleson). He just plain sucks and he turned his back on our franchise. To me this is no issue: No Way In HELL man! Find a job outside of football AHOLE!!

Anyone that is a Vikings fan cannot support signing that loser back to our squad.
Like somebody else already said "there is a reason nobody else in the NFL has signed him."

thank you! so many daunte culpepper apologists forget that little tidbit..this guy played absolutely atrocious football, then sat out the last 12 games of the season, and demanded a raise..after proving that he couldnt play without randy (and lobbying behind the scenes for him to be traded), he tells us that we need to pay him more money!?..guy is a joke, he turned his back on this franchise, crapped on the fans, and got totally outplayed by brad johnson

Let's not forget that Daunte had the 5th best season of any NFL QB in history in 2004 !!

At the same time, I also realize that Daunte chose to leave us; we didn't kick him out. So I understand when you guys say you don't want him back.

But let's not tear the guy down totally. His 2004 season was one for the ages.

Did Culpepper chose to leave the Vikings?
I remember a huge blow up about him not getting a playbook so that he could learn the offense.
I remember that lead to a bigger blow up with him and Childress over him Rehabing in MN and not the parking lot of a strip mall in MIA.

However, why does everyone blame Pepper for "turning his back" on the team?
