Hmm, 11-5 or 5-11, not really that tough of a choice.

Just because you get the first overall pick doesn't mean they will be a great player, and a new head coach doesn't mean that your players will play better.

Right now everyone should be saying the 11-5 because as soon as the ball is kicked off, I want us to win every game. If the 5-11 happens, I'll look at the positives then, but until thats the case, opting for us to lose is loser talk.

11-5 & Tice still HC. Both Looney & Cotrell de-moted. New OC & DC & the rest of the coaching staff that Tice hired with the "Red" budget, replaced with competent coaches hired via the "Wilf" budget. I want the new coaches that are hired to be chosen by a conscensus of the front office & not by Tice alone. There must be a FULL-TIME coach at aspect of the game. No & I repeat no shared duties by any coach. If you have only a part time OC or DC your result will be a part time offense & defense. That's a big part of the problem were seen now with Loney.

If it's going to end with us not winning the Super Bowl then I say suck it up. The whole goal is to get to the playoffs to at least have a chance @ getting to the big dance, if there's no chance of that I say I'd rather be bad and get some reward for sucking.

There is no reward in sucking in the NFL. Just mere compensation in an earlier draft pick. An early draft pick does not guarantee a great player.

Ryan Leaf is a perfect example of that.

although if we did go 11-5 and make it to the nfc championships then that would mean that we don't have to replace Tice

That's a stupid question. No freakin way! There's still a chance to win the big one this year man! We could go 13-3 or 12-4 or 11-5 etc. etc. Even if we go 8-8 (or even feasibly 7-9), we could still make the playoffs and make a run at the whole thing. It ain't over until it's over.

ummm 11-5 duh!! I like the feeling of winning way better than losing and I'm one of the very few who actually likes Tice.
