already decided I would be a Ravens fan. Purple and on the east coast near where some friends of mine live so wouuld have a chance of seeing them play. Not sure I could live with a franchise in LA

No, i would not "follow" the team in LA.
If the Vikings leave then I will just become a football fan, watching random games with no particular penchant about who wins.

I've never even been to Minnesota, not even close but I can't imagine loving the LA whatevers as much as I do the Minnesota Vikings. I mean the amount of my life I've wasted bullshitting about them on this website with you guys. We could probably be a fortune 500 company, if the collective time we've spent bitching about the Vikings was put towards a common goal, rather than trying to figure out why we suck so bad.
If it ever did happen, and it won't, (knock on wood) I wouldn't be as into it as I am now. It wouldn't be the same. It wouldn't be our Vikings. I couldn't root against our guys though. The way things stand I have a tonne of respect for a handful of players on this team, and I don't see that fact changing either.
Fuck this topic sucks.

The fact that this is a viable conversation topic right now sickens me for starters. This team has been part of this state for over 50 years!
If they move to California as much as it pains me to say it.....I'm done with them. NO more. Wow, what a brutal thought. I have always liked the Ravens, but since I live in Minnesota I will never be able to watch them on tv. (unless I get dish and spend mucho dineros). I will probably let one of my lifes passions just drift off into the sunset...and probably won't look back.
