My team is the Minnesota Vikings. I was born and raised in Minnesota and my loyalty to this unsuccessful franchise has as much to do with it's Minnesota roots as anything else. This is our team, win or lose.
If they quit Minnesota, I'm done with the team and the NFL.
No regrets but there is far more to life than football.

My family have been Vikings fans for a few generations so to see them leave would actually be pretty upsetting to me, I'd probably just be a fan of the NFL I like other teams but not to the level of the good guys.

I don't see a color change. Purple and Gold are pretty popular in LA.....

I'm an out of state fan for sure but not sure I would follow then if they went out of state. I'd still follow football but my next wait would be for a franchise in London - that I could then follow with a clearer conscience.
Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

I would continue to be a fan of the LA Vikings-or-whatever-they-are-called.

I'm sorry, but if the Vikings leave, I have a hard time blaming them. They have done everything the state asked. Find a local partner? Check. Put up more than the original third they were offering? Check. Agree on a retracatable roof? Check.

What else do they have to do? I don't think they should do the legislature's job and come up with a funding plan for the public money. They have committed to $400+ million of private money, found a local partner that has agreed to fund $300 million (and came up with a way to fund it), and they just needed the state to figure out how to come up with the last $300 million.

This is 100% on the state IMHO. (OK, maybe 85% on the state... but still).

I will have to seriously think about it, but will likely become a Kansas City Chiefs fan if this unfortunately goes down. Living less than 90 miles from Lambeau Field, there would be HUGE peer pressuire for me to follow the crowd to become a Packer fan. However, that idea is revolting to me!
