Would still be winning with Culpepper in...
Sure, Brad Johnson is experienced, has a ring....etc...but look at the rest of the team. The O Line is finally giving the QB time to pass, and the Defense has stepped up and is earning their money!
Just think what would be happening if you had a QB that could run like Culpepper can when he is healthy. I don't think it has been Daunte, but the rest of the team. It is finally coming together, and all due respect to Brad Johnson, I am anxious to see this team next year with a healthy Culpepper.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong......

I really wanna see what Daunte could do with Koren Robinson and a more experienced Troy.

Re: Would still be winning with Culpepper in...
I actually do think we win all four of these games with Culpepper in. We got the lead in all four games, and Culpepper plays well with the lead. He may have had some trouble in Green Bay with pressing, but he always torched the Packers. As far as the Giants game I think we would have put some points on the board offensively actually because there were at least three major underthrows by BJ in that game ... of course the whole game changes, but I think we win that one as well.
I am not gonna take any credit from BJ though. Culpepper is NOT in there and BJ IS and he is doing everything right.
I am interested to see what this team looks like with a major playmaker at QB like Daunte and with the defense as gelled as it seems to be. Also with Birk back and a solidfied line ... we could be looking at really good things next season.

Definitely, he looked like he was already clicking a little with Troy anyways ... next year Troy could already be the number one receiver on this team ...I really wanna see what Daunte could do with Koren Robinson and a more experienced Troy.

Re: Would still be winning with Culpepper in...
I like Daunte. But, the reality of the situation is that we had a 2-5 record with him as our starter. Brad came in and we are now 4-0 (with the same patchwork O-line). The "maybes" the "mights" the "what-ifs" & the "what-coulda beens" are great, but they don't win games. Neither do QB rushing stats. Brad is our QB and he is undefeated as our starter so far. He is calm, smart, experienced and has a Super Bowl ring. I'm glad he is our QB right now and I'm very happy how the team is performing with him at the helm. The only regret I have is that I just wish we wouldn't have lost so many games early in the season. But, other than that, I'm living in the present and loving it.
